DESIGNED IN CHINA: The Rado Young Design Prize, We want you!

100% Design Shanghai launched “DESIGNED IN CHINA: The Rado Young Design Prize” in 2009 to present a new generation of contemporary Chinese designs to a worldwide audience and introduce a new product into the global marketplace. This year, Reed Exhibitions, in collaboration with renowned Swiss watchmaker Rado, supported by Surface magazine, presents DESIGNED IN CHINA to seeking talent Chinese Designer around the world.

One Grand Prize Winner from each category will be awarded:
•  RMB20,000 in cash
•  A 2-page feature in Surface (China) magazine
•  Three- week exhibition and one-year contract to design a product (with the possibility of manufacture, sales and royalties) with Design Republic
•  A short course in their chosen area of art and design at University of the Arts London
