Urbanization in China is taking an unprecedented pace. Reports say China¡¯s buildings consume one-quarter of the nation¡¯s total energy, and this portion keeps expanding. Both public and private sectors have good reasons to improve building systems performance and reduce their environmental impact.

One developer (Aston Guo of Landsea);
One architect (Roland Gunnesch of Brearley Architects + Urbanists);
One operator (James Shepherd of Colliers International);
One industry confederation (Zhang Xuezhou of CRECC);
One coach (Zhao Qun of ¡°Train the Trainers¡± project, EU Switch-Asia) are going to evaluate how buildings can be turned into value-adding assets, and not expenses. What are good for China? Which are practical? What are the priorities? And the discussion will be moderated by Bernard Lim of AD+RG Architecture Design & Research Group.
